The State Postal Bureau of the People&39;s Republic of China issued this set of three special stamps on January 29, 2000. The stamps are respectively entitled: "Welcoming the Spring Festival," which shows a mother and daughter making papercut decorations, on a yellow background; "Bidding Farewell to the Outgoing Year," which shows two children playing beneath lanterns, on a green background; and,"Offering Sacrifices to the God of Land," which shows a man and a woman dancing in ethnic costumes beneath a dragon, on a red background. A souvenir sheet, called "A Happy Family Reunion," was also issued at the same time, which is available in our site. The stamps are very bright and colorful, in the style of Chinese peasant paintings, and are a wonderful addition to any collection, or for use in collage-type artwork. Please note that the stamp market in China is very volatile, much like the stock market here in the U.S. Our prices will be adjusted to the market prices traded in China.
